As I have stated before, I dislike asphalt roads. "Why can't they all just be dirt? So far this steel tire idea seems like a win-win for me.

Steel tires on dirt roads would create deep gullies that would become small streams during storm events, eroding the permeable and fertile top soil and increasing the risk of major flood events, the sediment would be carried into the rivers leading to turbidity in the water that would cause fish kills, stream bed fill in that would further increase the likelihood of flooding.

I'd say stilts. Thoug those aren't really vehicles I guess, or at least I always thought of them is footwear.

I think the worst vehicle to have in a zombie apocalypse would be a canoe. Unless you happen to live near a river or large body of water I guess. Worst land vehicle? Sailbike. I built one once, and it was a TERRIBLE IDEA.
