I spoke to the D'Angelo maintenance guy a few days ago. This conversation was in a response to a letter I sent them explaining that we were holding off on May rent until we could make some arrangements to make up for the lack of A/C in May.

He told us that any problems that we have with the outer door are because we leave it propped open, so we should not do that.

We are the only tenants who have complained about the paint smell in the stairwell (likely because we are the only tenants who use the stairwell), but that all the paint supplies should be out of there.

Brian will come in soon to look at the vents which are not working.

He also said that having a cooler, there should be a vent to the outside for the compressor because it will tax the AC otherwise. I'm not sure I've ever seen such a vent for a non-industrial level fridge, but that's what he says.

And now you know.

Cooler ...the worse broken noisey one at phoenix never caused an issue.

The outside door is...outside, we have our main door shut.  Im sure it has some effect but not much.

The main issue is our vents arnt venting.  If we turn the AC on long enough  and cold enough it gets cold ish,...but its stale and the guy who came to fix the AC  specifically told me he was writing in a note to Brian that  half or more of our vents were 100% nonfunctional and the others needed filters.

He used a laser heat read on them and checked for airflow,  nothing.

The outerdoor began falling off its hinge the first time we opened it. Nothing to do with leaving it open. It happens from people opening and closing it.

When we leave it open it stays attached.
